When a craving for classic Chinese takeout strikes but you don’t feel like waiting for delivery, this easy homemade Sweet and Sour Pork is just what you need. A harmonious balance of savory, sour and sweet is what makes this dish such a beloved favorite, and with my simple recipe you can enjoy that flavor profile on your own schedule. Tender pork is coated in a light batter and fried to crispy perfection before taking a luxurious swim in a vibrant pineapple and tomato sauce.
